Nature is an Angels Favorite Hiding Place

Ever felt an angel's breath in the gentle breeze? A teardrop in the falling rain? Hear a whisper amongst the rustle of leaves? Or been kissed by a lone snowflake? Nature is an angel's favorite hiding place. ~Carrie Latet

If I have freedom in my love,
And in my soul am free,
Angels alone that soar above,
Enjoy such liberty.

The Holy Guardian Angel

Angels have been found in many cultures over thousands of years, pre-dating Christianity. Perhaps it might just be easier to refer to them as celestial beings
To me, they are simply beings on a higher dimensional plane that have never had an earthly form - or any other form on this plane of existence. I see them as sort of gate keepers if you like, making sure all the energies passing through are doing the right thing, attuning energy where needed.

As for personal guardian angels, I do think an angel will 'take on' the responsibility of a life form on this dimension and check in from time to time to ensure all is going to plan. They don't actually interfere, they just check our personal blue prints and give gentle nudges wherever appropriate, to get us back onto our own track. I also think they don't just work with humans, but with all life forms in this realm. And I don't think its one angel per one life, I think each has a multitude of lives they look after. After all, most lives on this planet don't need a lot of looking after! Just us poor humans.

Also, I think they exist outside time, so have plenty of 'time' to do the job at hand. Are they simply angels, guardian angels or holy guardian angels? I think really, its all the same thing. Its use that has this need to categorise and label everything. If an angel isn't looking after people, but looking after earth energies or sea creatures, then we tend to see them as angels, who are someone less important than guardian angels, who look after people, but anyone except us. And holy guardian angel is the one who looks after me personally.

Are You Acute or Obtuse? My Life as Angle

I never really knew my name was unusual until I started school. Every year, on the first day of school, the teacher would inevitably call out
"Angle? is this a misprint?"
"No, that's how it's spelled, there's supposed to be an accent, its Angle' " I would say pronouncing it with my best fake french accent. After a few lousy attempts to say it correctly "just call me Angel" I would say, if you aren't going to say it right don't bother.

This exchange was usually accompanied by a chorus of snickering from my classmates. After class someone always had a wisecrack about my name. It was the same year after year, with every new class. eventually I'd just say "Yea, it's a misprint, it's supposed to be Angel." and Angle' was lost.

How I Became Angel Reborn

At some point before I was born, my mother found my name in a novel. "It means Angel reborn," she tells me, "it's French." The spelling and pronunciation is still a mystery to me to this day, Angle' Ronay.

Angle' Ronay is not the French spelling, mom got creative with that. The little ' above the e is supposed to be an accent aigu. Unfortunately in my world computers never print the accents, so all of my important legal documents read Angle and it is the legal spelling of my name. I have often wished my name were spelled differently, but how would I spell it?

Angel ? -the nickname
Angele ? - looks more like it sounds, with or without accent
Anglee' ? - keep the accent, loose the angle
Ange ? - the true French spelling -Nah, worse than angle
Rene' ?- true French spelling, and another accent
Renee ?- more like a first name, with or without the accent

Everyone calls me Angel. Occasionally my parents or close loved ones will speak my "real" name, each pronouncing it differently. I have never been able to discern which is the correct pronunciation, or which I prefer.

ann-gel-lee?
anglee
on-ja-lee
on-gel-lay?
ann-ja-lay?
row-nay ?
rah-nay ?

I'm confused. But so long as you say it with a fake French accent it sounds pretty nice.

What would you do? Would you change the spelling and to what? How would you pronounce it?
